At ten years of age, Marianne first accepted Christ. Thirty-seven years later she rededicated her life to Him, and began to pray with all her heart for an understanding of how to use her gifts of humor and song to serve Him best. As she waited for an answer, Marianne watched the Lord working in her life. Through tragedy and confusion, sickness and despair, there was Jesus, by her side, never failing. As she experienced remarkable growth and healing, Marianne’s song of praise took on more and more meaning, and Faith by Phoenix was born.

Singing from her heart and sharing her testimony, Marianne speaks words of encouragement and truth. Her lighthearted, humorous style captivates her audience while they receive her candid, down-to-earth message of hope in the saving power of Christ.
Marianne has an extraordinary ability to connect with women of all ages, from eighteen to eighty-eight. As a professional entertainer, she has experienced excitement, glamour and disappointment at every stage of her life. She has mentored youth and given loving hospice care to the elderly. Failures, tough decisions, joys, sorrows, dreams, separation and loss… Marianne can relate. She started at an early age. Still, she sings and speaks from a grateful heart – a heart that has learned to love, laugh, live and forgive! Her life has changed… she has changed… God has changed her!
Through laughter, tears and her exquisite voice, Marianne inspires women to seek the same life-changing power of God, as they live out their own journey of faith.
